Palpable Love Series is a personal project that I started in 2017.
My goal is to create palpable love photography of motherhood – images so intense that you can feel them. My idea is to take the normal motherhood session and create beautiful, unique, one of a kind images that evoke emotion.
My hope is to encourage Mothers to get into photos with their children, to share and show the importance of existing in motherhood and in photos. As a mother myself, I know how fast time fly’s and I know how little we get into photos with our children because we are always the ones taking them. I also know how it feels to have guilt and regret because we missed out on the opportunity of beautiful images with our children. I live with this guilt every day. I don’t want others to live with the type of guilt I have. We NEED to be present in pictures with our kids, we need to be present in motherhood, because these are images our children will look back at in the future, and we want them to remember that Mom was there with them.
Something else that I very passionate about is giving, so that is why I’ve decided that every month one Mother will be chosen as the featured Mom, where she will get a free motherhood session.
Each featured Mother will receive a Palpable Motherhood session free of charge and free digital images. To help make this series a success, all I ask from each featured Mom is that they share 2 social media images.
If you are interested in joining me or know of a deserving mother that would love to have beautiful images with their children, I will now be excepting entries.
Entries will ONLY be excepted via an Instagram or Facebook post with the hashtag of #palpablemotherhood and tagging Heartstrings Photography. Entries must be a picture of you and your children (selfies will do perfectly – after all the goal is to promote images with you and your children). For entries that are not for yourself but for others, email firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject “Palpable Motherhood Entry.”
